People from all sides of the political spectrum talk about the criminal charges against Donald Trump, who was the former president of the United States.
An indictment against former U.S. President Donald Trump has been made public, showing that he faces 34 felony counts in New York for making up business records.

Trump has pleaded not guilty to the charges, which come from an investigation by a grand jury into whether or not hush money was paid to porn star Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election.
But the charging documents that were made public on Tuesday show that prosecutors plan to go after Trump for more than the $130,000 they say he paid Daniels to keep quiet.
The indictment says that Trump used a "catch and kill scheme" to stop bad news from getting out. He is accused of paying a doorman not to talk about a child he fathered outside of marriage and burying a story about an alleged extramarital affair with Playboy model Karen McDougal.
With his indictment on Tuesday, Trump is the first former US president to be charged with a crime. He went to the Manhattan Criminal Court for a short time to hear the charges and have his fingerprints taken. He then flew home to Florida.
The charges come at a time when Trump is trying to get the Republican nomination for president in 2024. Here are some reactions to Trump's court appearance:
"Nothing was done wrong!": Former President Donald Trump
After his arraignment, Trump wrote on his Truth Social website, "The hearing was shocking to many because there were no "surprises" and, therefore, no case."
"Almost every expert on the law has said that there is no case here. There was no breaking of the law!"
"Serious criminal misconduct," says DA Alvin Bragg
"No matter who you are, these are all felony crimes in New York State. "We can't and won't make serious criminal behavior look like it's nothing," Manhattan District Attorney Bragg told reporters in his first public comments after Trump was arraigned.
Bragg is in charge of the investigation into Trump's hush money payments. He has been gathering evidence of what he says are faked business records.
